In February 2013, Professor Gail McConnell and Dr John Dempster of the University of Strathclyde were awarded £1.7M by the Medical Research Council to work together with Dr Brad Amos FRS to create a mesoscopic optical imaging facility in the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences that we have called the “Mesolab”.
This blog is intended to chart some of the major developments, milestones, happiness, frustration, hard work and (she says optimistically) joy of the project over the next 5 years. These pages will be maintained by the project PI, Gail McConnell. You can contact her at g.mcconnell-@-strath.ac.uk for further information on the project.
